Short History.

After a clear call and commissioning by the Spirit of God, Dorothy Hall from the USA, arrived on these shores in May 1984 as a missionary with a burden for Ireland. Initially meetings were held in homes and wherever could be found. God's hand of blessing was present as He saved, delivered, healed and filled many with the Holy Ghost. From the midst of these small workings came a burden and vision for the land. They realised that they would need a suitable centre for what God was doing and would do here in Ireland.' In 1992 God showed them and confirmed by a great many witnesses that Mungret College was the building He would have them purchase in the fulfiling of this vision. It was the Lord's mighty provision, in answer to prayer and faith that enabled them to purchase it. It only came out later how many had been secretly praying regarding this very building and that the Lord would raise up such a work.

After the purchase of the building a group of believers gathered in the main chapel to thank God and to dedicate the building and work to Him. In that gathering God spoke forth to them by prophesy that 'out of this very place He would heal His Church' and again that from here 'He would send out people to many nations.' From the beginning they pledged themselves that 'the whole facility would be earmarked to be used to the glory of God for generations to come.' It was to be used for the purpose of training people 'for service here in Ireland and elsewhere as the demand was increasing for trained personnel to care for God's people throughout Ireland.' Situated just 3 mile from the centre of Limerick and about 30 minutes from Shannon airport it was 'a perfect setting for the many who would come here, both to prepare for the ministry and those who will seek help and healing.' From the beginning they stated that 'The dimensions that this opportunity holds are so vast that we are actually about to share in something that will be a heritage for the Body of Christ for the generations to come.'

'We can surely say, God was with us in this venture of faith for the Body of Christ.'

Many trials, tests and troubles would be persevered through over the next years in bringing the vision to birth. A praying band believed God through every trial and prayed until God brought His Word to pass. This website lays out the visibly the work that was first given as a vision and burden many years ago, that was carried in hearts and which is now visible for all to see. '

Simple Statement of Faith.

'We believe in the unity of the one true and living God, revealed in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the Bible as the Inspired and Infallable Word of God. In Salvation through the Blood by personnal Faith in Jesus Christ. In Holiness of life and conduct. In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts God has set in the Church.'

Liberty Christian School

Excellent Education in a Christ-Centered Atmosphere

The Childrens School started in Autumn 2005 as a member of C.E.E. (Christian Education of Europe) using A.C.E. curriculum.

The Church.

Liberty Church was officially established in 2005 after many years of Saturday night Fellowship meetings. It is made up those who God has called out of darkness into His glorious light. If you talk with these believers you will hear clear testimonies of how God saved them out of religion, drunkeness, immorality, hopelessness, despair, pride and anger. Now they stand trusting in the Blood of Jesus by which they have been forgiven, trusting in God's Word by which they are kept from sin, and are waiting for the second coming of Jesus when they shall see Him who they love.
